I’m FINALLY starting to see some progress with my running goals. And pretty good progress at that 🙂
Sometimes you can find an activity that meets many different needs. For me, it’s running. As well as meeting my physical needs, it also meets:
- Emotional needs (exercise endorphins – combined with the lift from meeting my other needs)
- Environmental needs (I run outside in nature)
- Spiritual and intellectual needs (it is my time to think and reflect)
- Social needs (at race events, I get to connect with others who love running)
